North Branch, MN (9/22/2015) -
Go Pro’s Dana Creech experienced both the thrill
of victory and the agony of defeat at rounds Rounds
3 and 4 of the TerraCross Championship Pro RZR UTV
series at Sno Barons Hay Days in Minnesota.
In the first race of the Terracross Championship
double header weekend, Creech was running second
when he tangled with a fellow racer and punctured
the radiator on his Polaris RZR near the midway
point of the race. After taking the lead, he fell
out when his machine began to overheat.

Dana Creech battled his way into the lead
in round three, but a damaged radiator
forced him out of the race while leading
|
“Mitch (Guthrie) pulled the holeshot and we ended
up running together at the start,” said Creech.
“We came into a blind corner, the flaggers were
on the track with another RZR and Mitch stopped.
I plowed into the back of him and broke my radiator.
I passed Mitch after he broke and was leading,
but we had too many laps and I overheated. I saved
the car for the next race.”
It was a wise move for Creech as he came on strong
in the final round of racing for the weekend.
Creech grabbed the holeshot and dominated round
four by leading every lap without any serious
challenge for his first Terracross Championship
win of the season.

4 & he quickly pulled away from the
rest of the field

“I needed that,” said Creech. “I had a bad weekend
in (Rounds 1 and 2 at) San Diego and I really
needed to redeem myself. I had Jason Luburgh right
next to me. Jason is really my biggest competitor.
I had to get ahead of him early and then deal
with the lappers. I was just trying to stay as
far ahead as possible because of the lapped traffic.
The lappers really didn’t respect the leaders
coming through. We caught them on the third lap,
and they raced with me the whole event.”

issues at Charlotte Motor Speedway, so the new
date and location will be announced soon, and
Creech will be going for the top of the podium
once again to finish out the 2015 Terrracross
Racing season.
