We will be leaving on Thursday, most likely around 12 in the afternoon. We should be there as early as possible on Friday. We were planning on heading straight out to St A's unless we get there in the morning; in that case we will check in first.

Wheww, I was going to have to flip out and kill ups, but now I don't have to. Ups always drives through my neighborhood at 4pm or so.. and I can hear em blocks away.. so I wait at the window like I'm waiting for santa.. ups drives by thinking "hey cool heres my parts". They keep driving... I wait an hour they don't come back. I leave to run a few errands, come back at 6 and I got some packages at my doorstep:macho

So I've got everything I need now.. probably going to jet off to my buds house to put the tranny stuff in. Only thing I haven't gotten yet is my reed cage:(

well have a grill, we r camping. my dad hasn't got his cylnder yet. hes pissed if he doesn't get it tomorrow we r puting the 250 motor in. if he doesn't get it in time when he does get it hes gonna sell it. hes tyred of the bs from ct. hell probally get a esr then. idk what will happen. we gotta lot of stuff to do we r planing to leave thursday night or friday morning. hopfully everything comes together.

So.. the only option I have to go (aside from borrowing my cousins 400.. ughh) is to buy an esr crank.. and the only cranks they have are +5mm :macho I'm glad I have almost all the money, and an uncle willing to lend me the last $100 I need for it. Look out 4 strokers!:devil: :macho

Yeah, I'll be there. I'm calling esr tomorrow morning.. if ordering at 8am won't have it at my door around 4 today.. I will pay a little extra to guarantee it is here tomorrow so we can still leave on schedule and be their friday. If I can't get it til Thursday.. we should be at St A's late friday (too late to ride most likely) So at worst I will miss half a days riding .I'd really like that half day to break the motor in though: Going to call break in over at 5 gallons of gas.. so I'll be seeing how quickly I can do that without being mean to her. Just pissed right now Usps hasn't delivered the reed cage that was dropped off for shipment on Jun 2:mad:

310r don't you half to have your cylinder match ported for the stroker crank?? I didn't think you could just have any ol bigbore cylinder and put a stroker crank in there. To bad you don't have anouther week because I got a newly rebuilt crank just sitting here.

:eek: Yeah, I just got off the phone with Esr. I was hoping Robert could tell me that my transfers wouldn't be totally jacked, or my head/squish cut totally jacked also. He wouldn't tell me that, I know it's just a conspiracy, I swear! Oh well... I shouldn't feel too bad, I'll have a new oem crank here from them with the main bearings as well. Now I don''t owe anything either :)

I'll just stroke the crank later, when I have my porting "Modified" a bit :devil:

Read my above post.. the stroker won't happen for this trip. If I knew it wouldn't make the transfers/porting too bad in the meantime I'd do it, but Esr made it sound like it would be horrible until I got the porting set for it. I plan on having a shop customize my porting more and set it up for how I ride, and dunes and such. Like an ultra strong midrange, but still having wicked top end. I'll just tell em to set it up for a 5mm stroker, and send it to esr to get stroked.

I'm really interested in seeing how our bikes compare. I'm thinking about a 40.5mm carb, or at least a 39mm. This 38 just doesn't seem to flow how I like to ride at top rpms. Also interested in how you like the trx-11 pipe..., I think we both have the 9 porting right?

we r leaving tomorrow morning. we didn't get the cylinder or the grab bar. the 250 motor is in and ready. it wont be as fast but he doesn't care. he had to make a custom grab bar. my yfz hauls but with my weight in a drag race so be ready guys.

For some reason my uncle's card didn't process right, even though my uncle was at his bank this morning and there was a couple k in it :confused:
So I was thinking, great no way I've got my bike to go now.. then Robert tells me he is coming up to my area tonight after work and that he could bring the crank with him. So we are going to drive about an hour or 2 if theire is major traffic to either meet him, or pick up the crank at this restaurant they will be at (him leaving it with management if we can't get there in time). So I'll have the crank around 8, which is too late my friend/mechanic told me for him to work on it, he has to get up at 4am. SO, he will slam it together when he gets home at 4-5 tomorrow, and then I will rush to put it my motor in and start my bike, or just get on the road and finish it there. So we will probably be driving all night til we start falling asleep at the wheel, then go to sleep at a truck stop or something lol. We should be in on Saturday at some point.. and I'll probably look like this

Well everyone I am going to try and make it up on Saturday..I still have to see what I can come up with tomorrow afternoon about getting it off of work..I also want to see if a few of my friends can go (if I can) and get my new chain and sprockets put on..I should have said HI to a few of you locals up there in Nampa yesterday when I bought that 250X from Paul..Well I hope to see you guys there (hopefully) and have all your bikes smoke my stocker..hahaha anyways everyone have a safe drive and hope to see you there..

Alrighty, well I got the crank from robert no problem, I must say esr does rock.:D I was happy when I just opened the box, and found that esr uses Koyo bearings.. cause those bearings are teh best;)

Yea Paul was a very nice guy..he hooked me up good and was very honest...To me people like that are very appreciated..Still dont know about the dunes yet or not, but I am trying my hardest..We may bring up the 3P Delivery Box van..It is always a joy to see the look on peoples faces when you pull up to the dunes in a totally enclosed BOX van, open the door and use the hydraulic loading gate to unload all the quads.."strange looks". If I do get a chance to come I probably wont be driving that though..it will probably either be an older Blue Nissan pulling a 4 place snowmobile trailor or a white Jeep Cherokee pulling the same trailor..Hope to see ya there..I will know for sure this afternoon..
