The steering wheel features three inches of adjustment

In addition, the steering wheel can also be adjusted up or down with three and a half inches of adjustment. The floorboard is flat and there is no hump that you need to climb over when getting in-and-out of the machine.

Keeping you inside the Polaris Sportsman ACE, is a three-point automotive style seat belt, roll cage, and safety nets. As you can imagine with all the optional adjustments and safety features, it is easy for one to feel comfortable behind the steering wheel of the 2014 Polaris Sportsman ACE.

Polaris recently invited us out to Hidden Falls Adventure Park located just an hour northwest of Austin, Texas to test drive the 2014 Polaris Sportsman ACE. The Hidden Falls Adventure Park sits on 3,000 acres of land and it is nestled in the heart of Texas hill country. There are many miles of rocky trails, rock climbs, hills, woods, and a few waterfalls that you can pass by along your ride. The various terrain proved to be a great place to test out the all-new 2014 Polaris Sportsman ACE.

As an entry-level vehicle, the Polaris Sportsman ACE features a good amount of power that is delivered by its 32 horsepower ProStar Electronic Fuel-Injected engine. At first, we weren’t sure what to expect in the power department, but we found that the engine delivers smooth controllable power delivery throughout the RPM range.

Unlike the immediate throttle response of the Polaris RZR XP 1000, as the driver, you have to really push in the gas pedal to get into the power. The smooth power delivery works perfect for those new to the sport, and provides a great platform to learn upon. Don’t get us wrong; although the engine was designed for newbies, the power is just enough to keep things exciting for both beginners and experienced drivers!
