2008 Yamaha Rhino 700 EFI UTV / SideXSide Vehicle Review

    The Yamaha Rhino 660 revolutionized the SXS / UTV market when it was first released in 2004, and for 2008, Yamaha released the Rhino 700 EFI, which takes the level of performance of the Rhino to another level, and we had the chance to ride new model at Brimstone Recreation Park in Tennessee

    Jeff Stoess raced the Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS at one of the toughest GNCC Races of the season at the SnowShoe Ski Resort in West Virginia, and the Outlaw was faced with rocks, roots, mud, and nasty hill climbs over a 2 hour race, so hear what Jeff has to say about the Outlaw in race conditions

   The Honda TRX400EX had set the benchmark since its release in 1999, and with the release of the new 450cc machines, they are readily available for an affordable price, and with a few modifications, a person could have a race ready ATV for the fraction of the cost with our low budget project quad.

    For 2008, the Suzuki LTR450 QuadRacer recevied over 100 updates, so Suzuki invited us to Pro ATV Racer Doug Gust's personal motocross track to put these updates to the test compared to the 2007 model Quad Racer 450. Check out the full Review!

    Yamaha’s Rhino 660cc offers an abundance of features that has put it at the top of the UTV ranks. From its first in class independent rear suspension offering 7.3 inches of wheel travel allowing for the occupants to stay out on the trail longer with out fatigue, so check out the full Review!

    Yamaha discontinued production of the highly popular Blaster 2000 in 2006, which left many wondering what would replace it. Well, the answer has come with the release of the Raptor 250 4-Stroke Sport ATV, which surpasses the Blaster in nearly ever category, so check out full Review!

    KTM has built its business on race ready motorcycles, and for 2008 KTM has expanded it product line to include ATVs with the release of the 525XC & 450XC Race Ready ATVs. GNCC Pro ATV Racer, Andy Lagzdins, test rode both of these vehicles and here is his complete review!

    CanAm intially announced the DS450 & DS90 in June, but in August CanAm revealed their all new X-Package models, which come in a black and have many additional add-ons. These ATVs are designed to be race ready off the showroom floor, so here is the complete Review!

    Polaris added the 525 KTM Powered Engine to the 525 IRS in 2007, so for 2008 Polaris has expanded the Outlaw lineup to include two straight axle versions (525S & 450MXR) and both are nearly indentical to the original Outlaw with both powered by KTM engines. Read the Full Review!

    The CanAm DS450 Sport ATV is not a redesign of an existing machine. The design of this quad was done from the ground up by a group of engineers starting with a clean slate. The result is a machine that has more radical design changes than any ATV since they decided to add another tire onto the three wheelers.

    Not long after its official unveiling at the Indy trade show in February, the long awaited racing debut of the 2008 Kawasaki KFX450R finally materialized at the opening round of the Grand National Cross Country Series in Vero Beach, Florida.
