Baltimore, MD (12/23/2013) - In
2011, Can-Am entered the side by side market full
speed ahead with the release of the 2011 Can-Am Commander,
and for 2013, Can-Am added the option of Dynamic Power
Steering to the CanAm Commander line-up. Once again,
we had a chance to put the Can-Am Commander 1000 XT
to a long term test / review and really see if the
addition of power steering makes a difference and
see how well it holds up to an extended test with
some real world work and play testing.
As for the Can-Am Commander XT, it is one of Can-Am’s
premium models that is loaded up with accessories over
the base model. The XT models comes with DPS, 4,000lb
WARN winch, 14” cast aluminum wheels, 27”
Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 tires, heavy duty front bumper, bed
rails, mudguards, upgraded gauges, leather wrapped steering
wheel, and color options. We went with the NEXT G-1
Vista camouflage color option because we planned on
using our Commander XT for some hunting.

With a price tag of $14,499 the Can-Am Commander
