NEATV-MX - New England ATV Motocross Series

NEATV-MX Racing ATV Motocross Race Report
::Continued::

Can-Am / BCS Performance / ITP’s Josh Creamer laid it all out in the first Pro-Am moto as he took an early lead heading into the uphill section of the course. Creamer soon came under fire from Hetrick but never presented the chance for a pass on himself as he stayed true to his lines and laid down fast laps with no mistakes. Creamer and Hetrick came into the last corner of the race bumper-to-bumper and came across the line full-throttle with Creamer edging out the competition with the moto win.

Pro Armor / HiPer / FMF’s Josh Creamer was off to a great start for Pro-Am moto two after taking his third holeshot of the day. Creamer’s uncontested lead up front did not last long however as Hetrick was the second man out of the gate right behind Creamer and pressuring him all the while. About halfway through the six-lap race, Creamer and Hetrick came to battle on a slippery corner with Creamer coming out in second place. The pair remained in the same positions for the rest of the race giving Creamer at 1-2 in the class and a second overall on the podium.

BCS Performance / Can-Am / Elka Suspension’s Mathieu Deroy was able to make a podium position happen at the opening round as well with a third place finish in the Pro-Am class. Deroy came off the line in good position and was forced to do battle with AGX Designs / FOX’s Tyler Turner who was running in third place. Deroy was able to make his way around Turner before the end of the race setting a good place to the start of his Pro-Am motos.

Performance Ultimate / FMF’s Mathieu Deroy was back at it in Pro-Am moto two with another solid start and holding down third place for the majority of the race. Deroy was then receiving pressure from Honda mounted Nick Moser who was trailing him in fourth place. Deroy did battle with Moser but by the end of the contest slipped back into fourth place with Moser making a pass stick later in the race. Regardless of this position, Deroy’s 3-4 finishes placed him on the third step of the podium and created a solid benchmark for the rest of the series.
