Production A class riders were met with stiff
competition as Can-Am and KTM mounted racers
duked it out. Moto one holeshot went to Mark
Gehring followed tightly by Scott Waters. Midway
through lap one saw Waters taking the lead and
holding it all the way to the end of the race,
followed by Gehring, Roy Lampron, Brad Burbine,
and Joshua Mondo. Moto two was again a Scott
Waters and Mark Gehring battle up front. Unfortunately,
Water’s race was cut short due to his
chain coming off. This allowed Gehring to have
a free ride to the finish, untested for the
remainder of the race. First overall went to
Mark Gehring with 2-1 finishes, Roy Lampron
with 3-2, and Scott Waters with 1-6 finishes.

The Women’s class saw K&K/ATV Innovations’
Angie Maher take the overall win, but not without
contest from Southside Polaris’ Paige
Whipple who landed in second overall. Whipple
would win the first moto being followed cosely
by Maher, Cassie Depizzol and Larissa Griffiths.
Moto Two saw Depizzol rip the holeshot and then
be passed by Maher for the lead. Cassie would
later fall out of contention due to mechanical
difficulties. The pair were followed on the
podium by Amy Thompson, running on a Honda ATV
this year, going consistent and pulling third
overall with a 3-3 finish. Larissa Griffiths
and Jaclyn MacQuarrie rounded out the top five

New for 2010 is the addition of running the
first Youth Motos on Saturdays at 4PM. The only
exceptions to this new rule will be at tracks
that do not have open practices on Saturdays,
Southwick, and Capeway, or if the forecast for
Sunday is rainy, we will run both motos on Saturday.
