Racing Report
::Continued::
Riley snuck up behind Goodman and Coburn as they battled as was able to take over second place from Goodman about halfway through the contest. From here, Riley fended off chargers from Goodman while applying pressure to Coburn but settled for a second place finish, a great start to his Pro season in 2014.

Brad Riley finished second on his Maxxis Honda 450R

Honda East Toledo / Houser / Elka / Hoosier’s Harold Goodman had a great showing at the opening round as well with a third place podium finish after a long twenty-lap main event in the Pro class. Goodman had a very solid start coming into the first set of option lanes with second place locked down.

Harold Goodman rounded out the Extreme Dirt Track Pro Podium in third
|
From there, Goodman set a good pace behind Coburn but came under fire as Riley came up through the pack quickly and was on a mission to better his position. Goodman battled with Riley but was bumped back one spot to third place where he stayed for the short remainder of the race. Goodman is back once again in 2014 to defend, and go for his fourth consecutive Pro and Pro-am championship and this is a good start to that mission.

Harold Goodman grabbed the Holeshot in the Pro-Am Main
|
RAGE / Precision / FLY’s Harold Goodman had a better showing in the Pro-Am class as he was able to snag the early holeshot and hold down the front spot for the entire race. Goodman has been a long-time fan of the track at the Sioux Valley CC and he proved it during this race, getting out front and remaining mistake free while setting a blistering pace.
