Mt. Morris, PA (6/19/2012) –
The return to High Point marked the first ATV National
event held here since 2008. With a challenging layout,
the track would serve the perfect platform for Pro
Am Production racer Cody Gibson as he dealt the
competition another decisive blow going 1-1 on the
weekend. Both motos saw Gibson out front and in
complete charge of the race as he rode a near flawless
event and has solidly positioned himself in control
of the points battle.

Following Gibson in second was Casey Martin who
put in a valiant effort in both motos going 2-2.
Martins second place finish in moto one did not
come easy as he had to work through riders to place
himself behind Gibson. After securing second place,
Martin was able to close some distance on the leader
without challenge from third place finisher Brent
Sellers.
Moto two had an intense battle as Gibson raced
out of sight with the lead. Nick Moser and Casey
Martin would put in an impressive battle as the
pair went bar to bar for laps. Martin was able
to make a pass on Moser and held the position
until the checkered flag flew.

Moser would find himself in for a real fight as
Kyle Fix pulled up on his grab bar and was relentless
in pushing Moser for the third spot. A pass could
not be made as the pair was inseparable as the race
continued and came to a close with both riders crossing
the finish line virtually in tandem. It indeed was
one of the best motos of the weekend! The podium
set, Gibson and Martin going 1-2 with William Lloyd
grabbing the third and final podium spot by virtue
of his 5-6 performance.

Intense racing could be found as each moto fired
off the gate as the weekend clicked along. For
many amateur classes, the historical High Point
track would be new and offer challenges that they
would have to quickly overcome. By Sunday, most
had the track dialed in and wins were starting
to rack up. Nick Gennusa powered his way to the
overall win in 450A a 2nd in 4 Stroke A and another
second in Production A wrapping up a very successful
weekend.
