"First of, I would like
to thank, www.ATVriders.com, everyone who voted
for my quad, and Blingstar for Sponsoring the
Quad of the Month. It is a great honor that my
quad won the July Blingstar Quad of the month.
All the mini entries are winners in my book.
I got my quad back in spring
of 2003. I rode it for about a year or so stock
on trails and old logging roads. Then I got my
first taste of the Oregon Dunes. I was hooked.
I began competing in the Dunefest Minidrags. The
first year was very disappointing but my dad vowed
we would be back. After a few minor upgrades (pipe,
filter, carb mod, clutch work) I took second place
by default. I broke out, but now we had more under
the hood of the Predator. With a little motor
work, bigger carb, pipe, filter, and the same
clutch mod. I destroyed the competition. I met
my next challenge, sand MX racing. I loved it
and asked my Mom and Dad if I could start racing
when we got back home. After several hours of
research and hundreds of dollars later, this is
the final transformation.
I would like to thank, first
and foremost, my Mom and Dad for forking out the
time and money for me to have fun. A special Thanks
goes out to Rath Racing, for making the best set
of Dual A-arms and Anti-vibe steering stem for
mini quads on the market, Hetrick Racing for keeping
me fast, Scott goggles for keeping my eyes clear
on the track, and SixSixOne for keeping me safe
and protected."
