Daytona,
FL - 17 year old Jay Shadron will
be a name to watch in the 2014 GNCC Racing
Pro Class. After securing top three finish
the College A Class Championship, Jay Shadron
signed up for the Ironman GNCC in the Pro
Class. To much surprise, Shadron not only
finished, but he rounded out the top five
in his Pro class racing debut!
For
2014, Jay Shadron earned the #11 GNCC National
number racing in the College A class, which
was an impressive accomplishment for this
young racer, and he will be chasing after
a single digit for 2014 as a GNCC Pro Rookie.
We had a chance to catch up with Jay Shadon to talk to him about his move up to the GNCC Pro Class and his 2014 race program.
ATVriders.com:
Jay, tell me, what made you decide to move
up to the Pro class this year instead of the
Pro-Am class?
Jay
Shadron:
I decided to move to the Pro class for this
year and after running at the Ironman. I had
the most fun I’ve ever had at a round so far,
so I just want to move up and run with those
guys and see what I can do this year.

ATVriders.com:
You had a great run there at the last round.
How did that all play out for you and how
big of a surprise was it the way you finished?
Jay
Shadron:
I finished fifth during that race, which was
my best finish overall. It was definitely
a huge surprise to me, I didn’t expect it
at all. I was expecting maybe seventh or eighth,
but I never knew I could do that well.

ATVriders.com:
You’re running the number 11 and you’re going
to stick with the same ATV and program as
this last year?
Jay
Shadron:
I’m gonna stick with the Yamaha this year
thanks to Waynesburg Yamaha, Moto X-perts,
GBC, and Zbroz's Racing all supporting me
on the number eleven ATV.
