Cedartown, GA (8/12/2015) -
Over the past couple of years, Suzuki has once
again started updating their King Quad Utility
ATV model lineup, and for 2016, the Suzuki KingQuad
750 AXi and KingQuad 500 AXi made some more
changes to the lineup, so after a six year hiatus
from hosting a press ride event, Suzuki invented
the media down to Georgia to test ride the 2016
Suzuki King Quad 750 and King Quad 500 at Highland
Park.

The last time we visited Highland Park was
back in 2007 to test ride the King
Quad 450 and 700, which have went through
several transformations over the past eight
years. In 2008, Suzuki released the KingQuad
750, and the following year in 2009, Suzuki
added Power Steering to the KingQuad 750 AXi
along with updated King Quad 500AXi.

In 2014, the King Quad engine head was updated
with a twin spark plug cylinder head design
with new iridium tip spark plugs for improved
combustion and cold engine starting. Also, the
intake and exhaust cam profiles changed as well
along with the new fuel injectors and exhaust
system to meet new EPA guidelines, but the changes
also were also done to improve performance and
fuel economy of both Suzuki King Quad Utility
ATV models.

For 2016, Suzuki made several more changes
to the KingQuad lineup with new Carlisle tires,
bumper, front grill, and instrument Cowl, which
did eliminate the handlebar mounted third headlight.
Also, Suzuki is offering some new color options
including Matte Black and True Timber XD3.

After getting a run-down King Quad updates
the evening we arrive, the next morning we headed
to Highland Park to test ride both the Suzuki
King Quad 750 AXi and King Quad 500 AXi with
Power Steering.

Not much has changed at Highland Park since
our last ride there in 2007, and it provided
a great mixture of terrain from hills, rocks,
tree roots, and more to really test out the
performance of the new Suzuki King Quad Utility
ATV models, and we were really impressed with
the improvement in the handling of the power
steering King Quad models over the non-power
steering units.
