The Limited Edition RZR XP 4 900 comes many
upgraded features including the Maxxis Bighorn
tire that are a big improvement over the standard
tires that come on the standard RZR XP 4 900.
The tires were especially noticeable in the
lava rocks where we were hitting rock head on
and they took every bit of the abuse ,and the
Bighorn tires made it easy to get over just
about anything. One thing we did notice, however,
was the rear trailing arm paint chips quite
easily, but it is expected considering the type
of terrain that we encountered on our drive.

We had the opportunity to sit in the back seat
as a passenger as well and were quite impressed
with the overall comfort. The rear passenger
seats do offer less leg room than up front,
but I still had room for my legs to wrap around
the back of the front seat, which was still
fairly comfortable on the ride, but of course,
I wish that I had some extra leg room.

One nice thing about the rear seats is that
they sit higher than up front and are shifted
toward the center, which provided for improved
visibility for the passengers rear passengers
to look over and around the front passenger
helmets. Also, the rear hand rail provided a
secure hand hold, and I really liked the addition
of two cup holders along with the 12 volt plug
in/lighter for electronic devices such as cell
phones and MP3 players.

After an entire day of riding and testing,
the 2012 Polaris RZR XP 4 900 definitely met
and exceeded our expectations. It is a very
well-rounded, high-performance Side-by-Side
that is perfect for taking out your friends
and family for an off-road drive because it
is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face
that has the pleasure of riding or driving one.
