There was many times on the course that I could
not see 10 feet in front of me. Even though
the WORCS crew did a great job of watering the
track in between races the desert is notorious
for being dusty. The National Guard / Coastal
Racing team took note of the dusty conditions
at WORCS races and moved the radiator to the
rear for better air flow and so that the radiator
would not get caked in dust or even worse mud

are mounted up front on all SxS machines,
which provides excellent airflow for engine
cooling, but it also makes the radiator
prone to be clogged or damaged from flying
debris during a race, which isn’t
an issue for the typical non-racing consumers.
Once the radiator is clogged or damaged,
the engine cooling is reduced, which will
cause the SxS to go into limp mode to
prevent engine damage. To prevent this
issue, the Coastal Racing team relocated
their radiator to the bed of the Polaris
RZR XP, so it still gets great airflow
without easily being clogged by debris
                                        & the modified roll-cage provides

covered in desert sand, but it didn't

after racing his first ever SxS race |

I was very happy on how the how the National
Guard / Coastal Racing Polaris RZR XP 900 Side-by-Side
handled. I entered in the WORCS Side-by-Side
1000 class and I was told that I did a great
job even for my first time out. Unfortunately,
there was a transponder scoring issue that caused
some confusion in the side-by-side classes so
we are not sure exactly what position I finished.

Even with the scoring mishap I am very blessed
to have experience such a rush driving the National
Guard / Polaris RZR XP900 UTV in my first ever
attended WORCS race. A big thanks goes out to
everyone on the National Guard / Coastal Racing

Racing series that made this experience possible.
