At first glance, the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT still has similar Mule Family styling that isn’t too aggressive. It also comes standard with hard doors and most noticeable the rear seating that can transform into a 3-to-6 seat vehicle in less than a minute!
With Kawasaki’s Trans-Cab system one person can transform the Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT with one trip around the vehicle in less than one minute without any tools. The engineering on the system looks like something you would see on a Transformer and we were impressed how easy and fast it was to switch between the two seating configurations.
The big advantage of having the ability to switch between three and six seats is that you can choose to expand the bed for more cargo in the rear. The cargo bed is made of steel instead of a plastic composite material so it will not flex under a heavy load. The Kawasaki Mule Pro FXT bed can carry up to 350 lb in 6-passenger mode and 1,000 lb while in 3-passenger mode. The bed is mounted on a gas-assisted actuator that helps tilt the bed to easy dump your load if needed.
