A
Class Champion
Brandon Smith |
In the A Class, Thomas Brown endured problems
in New Jersey, Brandon Smith took full advantage
and stretched out a comfortable points lead
heading into the last round of the season. Brandon
made all those long trips from his home in Utah
worthwhile, by claiming the class championship.
Thomas Brown turned around his luck and wrapped
up second place in points with a second place
Moto finish. Media Allstar’s Cernics Suzuki
Rider, Casey Martin, edged out Billy Cottage
by just one point in the points chase to round
out the Podium. In what seems typical fashion
of the WPSA tour, Cottage held onto fourth place
on the year by just one point over Charles Moore
in an extremely tight points race.
Diving right down the ranks, the championship
battles are only getting stronger. The B Class
fell nowhere short of providing prime entertainment
as East Coast ATV rider, Austin Moser and Corey
Snapp went toe to toe for the crown. When the
checkered flag flew, it was Austin Moser taking
home the Moto win and season championship. Randy
Richman’s solid year yielded him third
place in point, just in front of Chase Snapp.
Bobby Gifford rounded out the top five in points
aboard his JB Racing Honda.

C
Class Champion
Danny Cooper |
A loop hole has finally been found in the C
Class where Danny Cooper had the season championship
already wrapped up even before the final round.
Last year Youth Production rider, Jay Corey
brought home second place on his Lonestar Honda
450r. Dalton Hicks raced just the last five
rounds, yet still earned enough points to bump
him into the third place. Jason Jackson and
Bradley Selph round out the top five of the
class filled with up and coming riders.

& 25 Plus Class Champion
Dane Heilman |
Dane Heilman shared a few victories with Cody
Anderson in the Open Amateur class throughout
the year, but Heilman would come out on the top
with the championship when it was all said and
done. Anderson would pilot his Honda to second
place on the year while Andrew Pruzinsky snapped
up the third place position. Denny Brockhoff put
in one last hard ride at the Field of Dreams,
but it would not be enough to push him in front
of Ross Dantonio in championship points.
