WORCS Racing's Mitch Guthrie
Jr Wins SxS Unlimited

Mitch Guthrie, Jr. charged his way to his fourth
win of the season in the SxS Unlimited class and
increasing his points lead over Jeff Obering who
finished in the fourth spot. “It went really well
out there and I am stoked to keep the points lead.
I had the holeshot and was able to pull away and
get the win. It’s a good feeling to get the win
especially with wrecking in the Pro SxS class,”
said Guthrie, Jr.

of Jeff Obering in second place |
Ray Bulloch came on strong and made the podium
in second place, which was his first time racing
in the Unlimited class, and he did it at this
hometown track. “We just got the Unlimited car
going and everything seems to be going good. I
am happy with getting a second for our first time
out with it. It was a good race and it was awesome
to race in my hometown,” said Bulloch.

Georgia racer, Mickey Thomas came from a mid-pack
start in the number five position and rode a consistent
race to claim the final spot on the podium in
third place. Jeff Obering hung on for a fourth
place finish and Ryan Holz rounded out the top
five in the SxS Unlimited class.

Brian Cernius claimed the top spot on the podium
in the SxS 1000 Stock class with Can-Am’s Gilbert
Flores in second and Bryce Lamont rounding out
the podium. “”I had the holeshot but connected
with someone and fell back and then Brian got
around me and I just couldn’t get him back,” said
Gilbert Flores.

Paralyzed
racer, Brian Cernius, claimed his first
win of the season in the SXS 1000 Stock
Class & the next race will be in his
homestate of Washington for Round 7 in August |
