“It really felt good to get my home win and have my family out here to see it. My STI/Duncan/Roll Design set up worked awesome out there. We are just going to take it race by race and hopefully take the championship,” said Sloan.

JRi/Lonestar Racing’s David Flores was in fifth off the start and moved into fourth place early in the race. Flores made a hard charge and worked his way up for a second place finish, just 19 seconds behind Mike Sloan. “I had a decent start out there and came up to second. I was making up time on Mike Sloan and my kill switch came out and I stalled. I still ended up only finishing about 20 seconds behind Sloan, but I am happy with that and we had a good weekend,” said Flores.
