“I was a little disappointed, but I guess it is better to have a little bad luck when it doesn’t really matter so much. This is my second UTV championship and it’s really unbelievable. I didn’t come from as much as these guys that have come here and down sized from a trophy truck; and for me to do so much with so little is a great accomplishment. Holz and Sparks built the car and engine, but I do all the maintenance on it and it makes me feel good to be able to do so well,” said Baron.
Off the start, Ryan Piplic got a bit of a surprise when he flipped his RZR off the start. Luckily, Piplic landed right side up and started charging his way through traffic.
