Primm, NV (10/20/2014) - Cognito’s Ryan Piplic claimed the 2014 WORCS season finale Pro SxS Win at Buffalo Bill’s Casino, and he was joined on the podium by Nick Thompson and Jeff Obering. In the SxS 1000 Class, H&M Motorsports’ David Haagsma finished out on top to clinch the class championship.

For the final round WORCS SxS racing, all the racers lineup at the same time with a condensed program to make time for the awards banquet, which had over 60 SxS racers on the course at the same time for the 45 minute long race with several championships still up for grabs.

H&M Motorsports’ Beau Baron wrapped up the PRO SXS championship at round eight of the series, and was hoping to make a statement for the final round, but that wasn’t the case after he encountered a clutch issue that ended his day after just two laps while leading.

Beau Baron wrapped up his second WORCS Racing SxS Racing Pro Championship at the round prior to Buffalo Bill's WORCS. Baron was hoping to end the season with another win, but his day ended early when he ran into some clutch issues

“I was a little disappointed, but I guess it is better to have a little bad luck when it doesn’t really matter so much. This is my second UTV championship and it’s really unbelievable. I didn’t come from as much as these guys that have come here and down sized from a trophy truck; and for me to do so much with so little is a great accomplishment. Holz and Sparks built the car and engine, but I do all the maintenance on it and it makes me feel good to be able to do so well,” said Baron.

Off the start, Ryan Piplic got a bit of a surprise when he flipped his RZR off the start. Luckily, Piplic landed right side up and started charging his way through traffic.
