Eli Church had a tough time of things for the
weekend. Church did well in the first Open Expert
moto, finishing in fourth but he was not able
to compete in the final moto and took a DNF,
putting him in fourth overall.

In the Pro-am class, Cody Miller got a slower
than normal start and had to work his way through
traffic. Cody soon caught up to his brother,
Hunter Miller and began to pressure him for
second place. Cody’s persistence paid
off and he was soon able to make the pass and
take over the number two spot before crossing
the finish line.

Racing's Eli Church took fourth in Open
Expert Class Moto 1 but got hung up in
a crash in the Moto 2 Holeshot |
Moto two did not quite go exactly how anyone had
planned as a huge pile up in the first turn caused
Eli Church to slam into the back of Charles Carlock
after Carlock checked up in the first corner.
The impact sent Church airborne, with his quad
landing right on Cody Miller. The crash ended
the day for Church, but luckily Cody Miller was
not hurt, but he did lose his seat in the ordeal,
but pressed on.
The number 22 charged hard and soon caught
up to his brother once again. Cody Miller was
able to make the pass and took second at the
checkered flag. His 2-1 finishes gave him the
overall Pro-Am win. “It was a little wild
in the second moto, but the only thing that
happened was I lost my seat. I was still able
to work my way back up and take the overall
win,” said Miller.

Hunter Miller placed second in the Pro-Am
Class on his Can-Am DS450 ATV |
In the Pro-am class, Hunter Miller was in second
off the start and held his ground for a while
despite pressure from Cody Miller in the first
moto. Hunter fought hard, but was unable to
keep his position and fell back to third, where
he would finish the moto. In the second Pro-am
moto, Hunter Miller was lucky enough to miss
the first turn pile up and was able to take
the lead and put a nice gap between himself
and the competition. Unfortunately, for Miller,
a ground wire came loose late in the race and
he lost power.

Hale grabbed the Pro-Am Moto holeshot
& Moto 1 win. Hale's placed third
overall in the Pro-Am Class |
Johnny Hale was looking good as he grabbed
the Pro-am moto one holeshot. Hale had a good
lead and held it all the way to the checkered
flag for the moto one win. Moto two didn’t
go quite as well for Hale, however, as he got
caught up in the first turn pile up and was
held back. Hale put the hammer down and was
able to make his way back into the number four
spot before crossing the finish line. Hale’s
1-4 finishes put him on the Pro-am podium in
the number three spot.
