#116 Johnny Hale would once again go on to claim the 2nd spot on the Podium going 2-3
Johnny Hale was in second off the start but got caught up with Chase Snapp and fell back to last place. Hale made a hard charge and was able to make his way back up to second place before crossing the finish line. In moto two, Hale was in third off the start and battled with hunter Miller for the entire moto, but was not able to get by, leaving Hale to settle for third, but his 2-3 finishes were enough to give him second overall.

“By the time we were running the second motos, the track was just one line and it was really tough to pass. I was behind Hunter and I tried to pass him, but I just couldn’t get around him,” said Hale.

Tulsa Honda's Eli Church grabbed the Pro-Am Moto 1 Holeshot

Eli Church was impressive in the Pro-am class. Church grabbed the holeshot in the first moto, but was not able to hold off an attack from Chase Snapp and fell back in the first lap. Church then battled with Johnny Hale and would take a third place finish in the first moto. Church held on for fourth in moto two, allowing him to round out the Pro-am podium in third.

After a rough Moto 1, Hunter Miller rebounded in Moto 2 to claim the 2nd spot for 4th Overall
Hunter Miller wrecked in the first moto, but was not seriously injured and continued to race, finishing in sixth place. In the second moto, Miller held off Johnny Hale to finish in a solid second, giving him fourth place overall.

Caleb Schatz went 5-5 to round out the top five in the Pro-am class, while Corey Snapp’s bad luck continued. Snapp claimed a fourth place finish in the first moto, but his clutch issues would not allow him to race in the second moto, giving him sixth overall for the day.

Round number five of the TQRA series will head to Raw MX in Geary, OK on June 11th – 12th, where Chase Snapp will try to hold off Johnny Hale and Hunter Miller for the win.
