2A
Can-Am/Motoworks team of Josh Frederick,
Dillon Zimmerman and Collins Webster placed
seventh |
While the top three Pro ATV teams encountered relatively
few issues, some teams weren’t so lucky. The
number 2A Can-Am/Motoworks team of Josh Frederick,
Dillon Zimmerman and Collins Webster ran into issues
that set them back dramatically. During one of Dillon
Zimmerman’s sections of the course, a nasty
crash severely damaged the front part of the quad’s
frame and left them sitting on the sidelines for
nearly two hours until repairs could be completed.
The time loss was unfortunate for the team and put
them in seventh place in their class with a time
of 12:56:53.
Mike Cafro, who is also a veteran racer of the
BAJA 500, teamed up with GNCC racer Jarrod McClure,
but things did not go well for the team. At the
160 mile mark, a mechanical failure put an end
to their race.
