Next up was the Polaris RZR 170 Youth UTV races, and Conner Hughes took his second straight win. Zavier Galaviz finished in the second spot followed by Tanner Kammerdiener that held a comfortable lead before going big on a jump and broke an a-arm, but he still finished third.

Dwight Hughes and Chris Deshon Rocky Mountain UTV Racing

In the Expert UTV race, Chris Deshon grabbed the holeshot, but was quickly challenged for the lead several racers, and in the first lap, he swapped the lead with Dwight Hughes several times, but Deshon was able to regain the lead and hold it to the finish line for the win followed by Dwight Hughes in the second spot.

Josh Tatman started on the second row, 30 seconds behind the lead row, but he was able to charge his way with to the final spot on the podium in the third spot. Mitch Ray of RCR Powersports and Kyle Raley of Ransom Speed Shop, were putting down some serious work, Kyle is a Team RMURA driver and he was fast and flying high, taking the "Biggest jump" award.

The final race of the day was the Powder puff class with five racers showing up, which is the largest turnout yet for this class. These ladies weren’t playing, as they pushed each other hard, and didn’t have any issues catching some big air over the jumps, and in the end, it was Kaitlyn Hughes taking home the win followed by Jenny Peil in second, and Rebecca Rector rounded out the top three. We are excited to watch this class get bigger with every race!

All in all, it was a fantastic day for both racers and fans alike, and RMURA series heads back to Colorado Off-Road Extreme in Agate, CO for round four on August 8th, and just over a month later, the series will return to Grand Junction Motor Speedway for round five on September 12th with a new track to once again challenge the racers.
