Anza, CA (11/4/2013) - The seventh round of the Yamaha Quad X Series was held on October 27th at The Ranch in Anza, California. H&M Motorsports David Haagsma took his fourth win of the season by going 1-1 at the round. Maxxis Tire’s Beau Baron and Walsh Race Craft’s Dustin Nelson took second and third respectably.

David Haagsma laid down two impressive motos and scored 1-1. The win gave him a boost in the points lead. He currently has a 12 point cushion heading into the final round.

“The round went great. My H&M Motorsports Honda worked awesome. My Maxxis Tires and Sparks motor were key to my wins. It feels great to go 1-1 and extend the points lead,” said Haagsma.

Beau Baron came in second after scoring 3-2. This was the first race that the H&M Motorsports racer took to the gate since breaking his collar bone five weeks ago. Baron’s ride allowed him to move back into the second overall spot. He currently holds the position with a one point lead over Nelson.

“I didn’t know how the round was going to go. I was really surprised that I could ride that quick after my injury. I am happy to have the second spot in points and am looking forward to the final round,” regarded Baron.

Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson claimed third at the round. Nelson finished 2-3 at the round. He currently sits in third place, with the chance to take over second at the final round. Yamaha’s Josh Row took fourth at the round with 4-4 finishes. Row is currently ranked fourth.

Dustin Nelson earned third overall at The Ranch. Nelson now sits only one point behind Beau Baron who sits in second after round 7.

Tanner Gemperle rounded out the top five. Gemperle finished 6-5; he currently holds fifth in the points chase. Collins Webster, Garrin Fuller and Dylan Dixon finished out the top eight in the Pro 450 Production class.

The final round of the Yamaha Quad X Series will be November 9th at Glen Helen in San Bernardino, California. The series banquet will be held after the round.
