In Moto One, Yamaha's 417 Josh Row secured
the 3rd spot for as season best Moto finish
on his YFZ 450R |
In
Moto 2, Josh Row wasn't able to hold of
Baron & finished in the 4th spot, which
was still enough for a Podium finish |
Moto two also went well for Row after a good
start in the number four spot once again. Row
applied the pressure and made the pass on Jason
Fife early in the race, but fell back to fourth
after Beau Baron came charging through, giving
Row a fourth place finish and the number three
spot on the podium.
“It felt great to be on the podium. It
was a good race for me and it was a lot of fun,”
said Row.
Jason Fife put in two solid motos as he battled
with several racers before working his way into
a fifth place finish in the first moto. In the
second moto, Fife got a great start in third,
but he was not able to hold off Josh Row and Beau
Baron, and he fell back or another fifth place
finish, which put him in fourth overall for the
day.

first moto, but fell back after battling with
josh Row to finish in fourth. Goss hung on for

fifth overall for the day.
Maxxis/H&M Motorsports’ Beau Baron had
a great start in the first moto and was running
in a close second behind his teammate, Haagsma,
but a part from his carburetor came off and he fell
back. “It came off right before this huge
jump and it was a good thing I backed off because
my quad sputtered and died and kind of nosed dived,”
said Baron. Luckily, Baron was able to find his
lost part out on the track and continue racing,
but he was still two laps down, which put him in
ninth place at the end of the moto.
In the second moto, Baron was in mid pack off
the start and charged his way through traffic.
“I just stayed on the gas and I was starting
to close in on Dustin and David, but I didn’t
have enough time to get close,” said Baron,
who settled for a third place finish, giving him
sixth overall.
