Area 51 Offroad's Steve
Tutt Wins his 2nd Pike's Peak Championship

In 2007, his rookie year, Steve started off the
week-long event with great strength. On the first
day of practice he tested the limits of his 450R
and walked away with a new qualifying record for
the 450 Quad division. With first pick of starting
line position, Steve prepared for the vigorous
ride up the 12.42 mile, 156 turn race course.
He quickly established a significant lead over
the other quads in his heat, beating them all
to the summit. The final results came in a short
time later and revealed that he not only finished
with a 59 second lead over second place, but he
had broken the previous 450 Quad course record
by just over one minute.
