Kyle Martin does
it again with his second consecutive OMA
Nationals victory. The Dirtworks Motorsports
Honda lead the event from start to finish.

After thirteen laps of a Bill Gusse course on
the CMJ Raceway property near Hixton, Wisconsin
it was Kyle Martin on top of the OMA Nationals
podium again. Martin won the previous round also,
and the Dirtworks Motorsports Honda racer now
holds an eleven point lead over Shawn Hess in
the race for the series championship. Hess finished
third aboard his Hess Motorsports Quad Tech Honda
after losing a late race battle with the Dirtworks
Motorsports Moose Racing Honda of Bryan Hulsey.
Missouri racer John Pitts rode his Duncan Racing
Dirtworks Honda to fourth place, and was the last
racer to complete thirteen laps in the event.
Rob Weis rounded out the top five overall aboard
his A class County Sports Racing Amsoil Honda.
“Start to finish. That’s the way
I like it,” said Martin. The Missouri based
racer took another holeshot and never looked back.
According to the Scott Goggles IMS backed racer
the day went “just how you want it to go.
I pulled the holeshot, put a little lead on them,
made some dust for them, and I had a pretty clear
track ahead of me.” Martin put his Roll
Design EBS Honda out front and managed to keep
a gap on the entire field. After thirteen laps
the gap had grown to nearly three minutes over
the second place Rekluse Vee Rubber machine of
Bryan Hulsey. Martin said it was “a pretty
open, fast track, so I was able to put some time
on them.”

to Dirtworks Motorsports Moose Racing's
John Pitts

Kyle Martin now maintains
an 11 point leader over second place,
Shawn Hess.

Second place was captured by Bryan Hulsey, who
recalled “off the start I was around fifth,
behind John (Pitts). We battled a little bit through
the motocross. Then John missed a line and that’s
where I got him on the first lap.” Hulsey
was smiling when speaking about the motocross
track, as he is very comfortable in that environment.
Some of the other racers, including Pitts, favor
keeping all four wheels on the ground instead
of launching through the air on a big double.
