Off the start in the second moto, Vachon shot
into second and stayed close with Creamer for
a few laps and held off the riders pressuring
him from behind. Vachon maintained his position
for the remainder of the moto and would take
second overall in the Pro-Am class this weekend.
“My bike worked really good this weekend,
this was not like the tracks up in Quebec, Canada,
but it is fast and the guys here are really
fast too, but I am glad how my bike ran,”
commented Vachon.

BCS Performance's
#21x Mike Troiano placed third overall
in the Pro-Am Class
|
BCS Performance / Can-Am mounted Mike Troiano
had two good motos in the Pro-Am class this
weekend. Off the line in the first moto, Troiano
came out towards the back of the pack and began
to put in work making his way up the line.
By the fourth lap, Troiano had made his way
into fifth and was closing in on Tommy Lombardo
and by the end of the fifth lap, Troiano had
found a line and made his move into fourth where
he would finish.Motor issues didn’t seem
to stop Troiano throughout the day, “my
motor was over heating so we ended up having
to change the motor mid way through the day,”
commented Troiano.
On the gate in the second moto, Troiano had
a better start coming off the line mid pack.
Troiano made his way into fourth by the second
lap and was pushing hard to try and make his
way past fellow Can-Am DS450 rider Adam Trafford
and by the fifth lap, Troiano saw his opportunity
and made his way into third. Troiano would hold
down his position and round out the top three
in the Pro-Am class.
Team Southside Polaris’ Mark Gehring
ran two great motos this weekend in the Pro-Am
class. Gehring shot off the line in the first
moto into second and tucked in behind Creamer.
DWT’s Gehring held onto his position for
a few laps before Vachon made his move around
Gehring and put him back into third where he
would stay for the remainder of the moto.

just missed the Pro-Am Podium in fourth
|
In the second moto, Gehring had another good
start this time in third behind Vachon, but
by the second lap Gehring fell back into fifth
and held a tight battle with Justin Chamberland
for the next few laps. By the fifth lap, Chamberland
found a way around Gehring, sending him into
sixth where he would end, taking fourth overall
for the day.
Rounding out the top five for the Pro-Am class
is Can Am DS450 mounted Justin Chamberland who
went 7-5 in his motos. Off the start in the
first moto, Chamberland started in the middle
of the pack and held down some battles with
fellow Can-Am rider Mike Skalaski throughout
the moto, but would be unable to make any moves
forward and finish seventh. In the second moto,
Chamberland started out toward the back of the
pack but was able to make his way up the line
throughout the six lap moto and found himself
in fifth by the last lap where he would finish
in the second moto.

putting him in the back of the pack. But Spurlin
rode hard and made his way up through the pack
and found his way into first by the end of the
fourth lap. Stamford, Connecticut’s Frank
DiPietro had a great weekend, going 3-2 in his
