Cody Miller - Can-AM DS450 ATV

BCS Performance's #22 Cody Miller once again finished 3-3 in the Pro-Am Class for a third overall finish on the day

2010 NEATV-MX Pro & Pro-Am Champion, Cody Miller, had a good start into second off the line in the first Pro-Am moto. Miller made a mistake and blew a berm early in the moto and went back to last, but quickly made his way to third. Miller would finish the first moto in third. In the second Pro-Am moto, Miller came out in second behind Creamer, holding onto his position for a short while before Wimmer made a pass and dropped Miller into third. Miller would stay in close range with Wimmer and Creamer but not close enough to make any passes, finishing in third, taking a third overall. “I liked this track, it was fun, safe, had some good passing opportunities, and was overall a good track,” commented Miller when asked about the track.

Brad Burbine - Can-AM DS450 ATV

#949 Brad Burbine held off #45 Abram Hakala to claim the 4th spot

South Royalton, VT Brad Burbine had a good day at the track, came out in the back of the pack in the first Pro-Am moto. Burbine chased down new Pro-Am rider, Abram Hakala, for a few laps, but was able to make his move on Hakala and take over fourth in the middle of the moto, and finish in fourth. In the second moto, Burbine started out in fourth off the line and would battle to hold of Hakala from taking over his position throughout the entire moto. Burbine succeeded in holding Hakala off, and took fourth, finishing fourth overall.

Abram Hakala - Suzuki LTR 450 ATV

#45 Abram Hakala made an impressive debut in the Pro-Am Class battling with Brad Burbine both Motos

New Ipswich, NH Abram Hakala raced great in his first Pro-Am moto’s of this season. Hakala charged off the line into fourth behind Miller, and held onto his position for a few laps. Hakala battled with Burbine for the first couple of laps, but then fell into fifth when Burbine was able to make his move. Hakala would finish fifth in the first Pro-Am moto. Off the start in the second moto, Hakala would come out in fifth, but stayed close with Burbine, who was in fourth, throughout the moto. Hakala finished fifth, taking a fifth overall.

The 40+ class held eleven riders this weekend, and Suzuki LTR450 mounted Timothy Suchocki took the holeshot in both moto’s. Suchocki ran away with both his leads, putting a big gap between him and the pack. Suchocki would take both wins and the overall in the 40+ class. Dover, NH Rick Spurlin also had a great day at the track. Spurlin had two strong starts off the gate and tried to chase down Suchocki for the lead, but was unable and took second in both motos, taking second overall. Rounding out the top three is Suzuki LTR450 rider David Thorrion, who went 4-3 in his motos.

The 4 Stroke C (15+) class held thirteen riders on race day. Pittston, ME Jake Chamberland had an excellent day at the track. Chamberland had two strong starts off the line which put him in the front of the pack. Chamberland rode hard to stay out in front and kept Tyler Morgan from making any moves on him. Chamberland would take both wins and the first overall for the weekend. West Brookefield, MA Tyler Morgan also had a great day at the track. Morgan started both his motos in the front part of the pack, battling with Chamberland for the lead. Morgan couldn’t make a solid pass, and would finish second in both motos, taking second overall. Filling out the podium is Jared Gessner of Cuddebackville, NY, who went 3-3.

The 90 Auto (8-15) class held only five riders this weekend. Davis Eames of East Hampton, NY ran two excellent motos, starting out in front and holding off the other riders from getting by. Eames rode strong and took both wins, finishing first overall. Searsmont, ME Landon Nichols also rode strong in both motos. Nichols started in the front of the pack and tried to close in on Eames to take over the lead. Nichols would finish second in both motos, taking second overall. Rounding out the podium is Andrew Ponte of Dartmouth, MA, who went 4-3.

The NEATV-MX series will revisit Hemond’s Motocross Park in Minot, ME for the season finale on October 8-9, 2011.
