The 40+ class held only five riders this weekend.
Newport, Vermont’s Delton Bohlman had
a strong start in the first moto which allowed
him to stay close to the front in second, behind
Timothy Suchocki. Bohlman wasn’t able
to make a pass, finishing in second the first
moto. In the second moto, Bohlman had another
great start and would hold onto his position
in first throughout the second moto, taking
the overall win for the 40+ class.

Suchocki was able to make the right moves and
not allow Bohlman to make a pass. Suchocki took
first in the first moto. In the second moto,
he battled to take first from Bohlman, but was
unable to, taking second that moto, which resulted
in a second overall finish for Suchocki. Filling
out the podium is Dover, New Hampshire’s
Rick Spurlin, who took third in both his 40+
motos.
In the Production C (15+) class, Preston, Connecticut’s
Josh Suchocki ran two excellent motos, which
resulted in him taking first overall. Suchocki
flew off the line on his Suzuki LTR 450, taking
the holeshot, and gaining a strong lead on the
pack. He was able to hold onto his lead and
take first in his first moto. Suchocki took
the holeshot the second moto and held off the
other riders the entire moto, taking another
first. Lebanon, Maine’s Ryan Dyer also
had two good motos, considering the track conditions.
Dyer was able to get two good starts and hold
on to them. Dyer went 2-2, finishing second
overall. Rounding out the top three is Salisbury,
Massachusetts Zack Pearson, who took third in
both his Production C motos.
The 70 Limited (6-11) class held eleven riders
this race weekend. Zionsville, Pennsylvania’s
Travis Wotring ran two strong moto’s,
keeping himself out in front. Wotring gained
distance from the other riders and would take
first in both of his motos. Wotring finished
with the overall win in the 70 Limited class.
Shelton, Connecticut’s Ronnie Rich also
had two great moto’s. Rich was able to
stay up front and take second in both of his
motos, finishing second overall. Rounding out
the podium is East Hampton, New York’s
Davis Eames who went 3-4.
The ninth round of the NEATV-MX series will
be hosted by Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ
on August 21, 2011.
