Maxxis'
#191 Dustin Wimmer found himself eating
roost the majority of the 1st Moto as
he challenged Creamer for the lead,
but with a nearly one line track, passing
was at a premium with him finish in
the 2nd spot
|
In the Pro-Am class, Wimmer started the first
moto by taking off the line in second behind Creamer.
Wimmer battled it out with Creamer the entire
moto. Unable to make a pass, Wimmer finished the
first Pro-Am moto in second.
Wimmer pulled off the line and took the Nac’s
Holeshot in the second Pro-Am moto. With Creamer
just inches behind him, Wimmer stayed on his
line and was able to keep Creamer from passing.
“I knew he was back there behind me, but
I just tried to run a clean race and we both
had a lot of fun,” commented Wimmer. Wimmer
finished first in the second moto, giving him
first overall in the Pro-Am class.
