Aaron Meyer, who was looking
good in the first Pro-am moto, finishing second,
would fade in the moto two to take sixth place,
giving him fourth overall. Rocco Arno, Jr. also
was looking good as his rode his way to a 7-4
finish to round out the Pro-am top five.

Joe Haavisto rebounded in Moto 2 to claim
the Win, which boosted him to an 8th Overall |
Myles Santaniello, who had been looking good
earlier in the day would encounter some issues
in the second Pro-am moto, putting him in last
place overall and Luke Marois would also succumb
to mechanical issues and would be forced to
take a DNF, putting him in 16th place.
In the Women’s Open class, Susan Parker
would dominate, taking a 1-1 finish for the
overall win, while Laura Pilotte would claim
second. Marie-Eve Huppe would ride two consistent
motos to claim the number three spot.
The Open Expert A class saw Brian Daigle take
a 1-1fnish for the overall with Dylan Murcott
right behind him in a close second place. KTM
mounted Gaillaume Maheu would hang on for a
solid third place finish. The competition was
fierce in the 30+ A class as Can-Am rider Roy
Lampron charged his way to victory with fellow
Can-Am racer William Waite taking second and
Matt Atkins rounded out the top three.
In the youth classes, Davis Eames would claim
the win in the 50cc Limited class, followed
by Nicholas Kirby in second and Cameron Dufault
in third. It would be a trio of Apex quads in
the top three spots of the 90cc Auto Jr. 8-11
class as Ryan Dupont would take the win followed
by Andy Cummings in second and Wade Pollard
in third. Caitlin Gendreau would go 1-1 in the
90cc Auto Sr. class, taking the overall, with
Mason MacQuarrie going 2-2 for second and Amber
Williams’ went a solid 3-3 for third overall.
Round eight of the New England ATV Motocross
Series will be once again held at the Capeway
Rovers MX Park on August second, where the points
battles will heat up as the series heads into
the final five rounds of the 2009 season.
