Jeffrey
Bradway swept both Motos on his Rockstar
Polaris Outlaw in the Production B Class,
and with 3 rounds remaining, he has already
clinched the class championship |
When the 4-stroke B class took to the line,
everything was going fine at first. Last year’s
4-stroke C champion, Justin Locke took the holeshot
and was leading into the first lap until #86,
Chris Myrick went down hard. The red flag was
waved and racers were sent back to the starting
line. It took medical staff over an hour to
stabilize and airlift Myrick, who was unconscious,
to the nearest trauma center. Myrick suffered
a severe concussion and broken ribs, along with
many bumps and bruises, but is expected to make
a full recovery.
When the 4-stroke B class was restarted, Justin
Locke once again grabbed the holeshot and led
for all four laps, claiming the first moto win.
In moto two, however, #99 Mark Gehring took
the holeshot, followed by #42 Ryan Coleman with
Justin Locke in third. By the end of the first
lap, Gehring feel back to fourth, allowing Coleman
to take over the lead. Coleman led for the rest
of the moto to take the win with Locke in a
close second. Coleman took the overall win,
increasing his first place points standings
to 328, while Locke, who missed a good part
of the season due to injury, sits at 136 points.
In Production C Edward Pudvah continued to
increase his impressive points lead to 411 points,
which is 163 points over second place Zach Obermeier,
and 167 points over third place Gary Buelow.
In the Youth 200/300 class, Justin Cyr and
Dylan Murcott are in a close points race for
the championship with Justin in first at 336,
but Dylan is only six points away at 330. With
only three rounds to go in the season, the battle
will surely be heating up between these two.
Ryan Dupont continues to dominate the 90 Auto
Junior class with 450 points while Cody Paolella
sits comfortably in second with 352 and Chris
Kearney is a distant third with 299.

#38
Justin Cyr took over the lead in Youth
200 / 300 Class at Jolly Roger with his
3rd Overall finish, but Joshua Mondo's
Win has him less than 28 points behind
with Dylan Murcott now in 2nd and only
6 points out of the lead |
#997 Wade Pollard made the pass on #17
Andy Cummings to claim the 70 Limited
Win followed by Cummings, which allowed
the pair to gain ground on points leader
Micheal Pahlas who finished 3rd Overall,
which cut his points lead to just 44 points |
Michael Pahlas has kept it consistent all season
and is sitting comfortably in the points lead
of the 70 Limited class with 396 points while
second place Wade Pollard increased his points
standings to 352 by taking the overall win,
while Andy Cummings has made an impressive effort
all year and currently holds third in the points
race with 344 points.
As the end of the 2008 New England ATV MX season

Capeway Rovers Motocross will play host to the
series for the third and final time this season.
