Heat number two looked more like a main event
than a heat race. With some series favorites and
well-known names, this was the heat to watch!
Once again, that famous Baldwin power grabbed
the holeshot, rookie Andrew Evanyke was keeping
Ace ibset, looking for a mistake from the defending
champion, while Justin Frindt, Kris Bures and
Eric Jennings kept the crowd focused on the back
of the pack. Jennings moved his way to third applying
pressure to Evanyke. On lap 5, Jennings suffered
mechanical issues and ended up DNFing the heat.
After 8 laps, it was Brian Ace grabbing the heat
number two win, with Evanyke in second and Frindt
in third. The Johnstons Toyota Pro main was getting lined
up for the tough 20 laps. Local and pulling almost
every holeshot of the day, Brandon Gates earned
himself $150 from Johnstons holeshot award. Factory
ESJ rider and Pro class rookies, Andrew Evanyke
in second and the defending champion, Brian Ace
sitting in third. Ace putting the option lines
to work trying to get passed Evanyke and working
for the number two spot, Gates was just ahead.
At the half way point, Gates was still leading
with Ace in second and Evanyke in third. Jennings
was now looking for a spot on the podium getting
passed Evanyke on lap 11. Jennings closed the
gap on leader Brandon Gates and Ace still in second.
Ace was able to get passed Gates on lap 12 and
Eric Jennings was looking to strike on a tired
Brandon Gates for the second spot. Jennings making
the pass on Gates, now with a 3+second gap, Jennings
was starting to run down Brian Ace. With laps running down, Jennings caught up to
                                Ace and was applying pressure for the top spot;
Ace and Jennings started to hit lap traffic. Jennings
