With the Pro class having only the diehards
who are in the points chase, no one wanted to
give up anything. The Pro heat was a surprise!
Eric Jennings the only rider not on a Honda.
Jennings YFZ was quick to grab the holeshot.
Going into the first turn Justin Frindt on a
loaned Honda moved the Ace brothers out of the
way for the second spot. This gave Jennings
an 8 bike lead, Jennings stated “I didn’t
know what happen after the first lap I knew
I had some room, and every lap someone else
was in second.” After the 8 laps were
over it was Jennings, Brian Ace, and Gates finishing
third
The main was the same, just a
few different starting spots. With 50cc NE EDT
champion Taylor Jennings as the 30 second girl
on the track, it meant business. The riders
waited for her to run off the track and the
green light came on! It was that famous Baldwin
power just out front of Frindt on the Honda.
Brian Ace, grabbing the $150 Anthony Bros Powdercoating
holeshot. After the first lap it was Brian Ace,
Justin Frindt, and Jennings in third. The order
ultimately didn’t change but once again
it was Jennings putting on a charge that had
every spectator on their feet. Jennings continued
switching lanes almost every lap trying to get
by Frindt. After 20 laps it was Brian Ace, Justin
Frindt and Eric Jennings with the final spot
on the podium.
Round 4 is rescheduled for October
22, due to Hurricane Irean. The NE EDT wants
to congratulate the 2011 champions that clinched
there titles. The rescheduled round 4 is going
to determine the rest of the class champions
