finished just outside top 3 placing
fourth in the AA ATV Class |
After grabbing the Irrigation Plus Holeshot
award, #82 Ryan Lane got hung up on a tree
after the start putting him in the back of
the pack. “I had a pretty good day and
it started right up (Lane’s’s
DC Motorsports Honda 450R ATV) and I slid
into a tree pretty quick and then I had to
work my way back up,” said Spider Graphix'
Ryan Lane.
Lane eventually caught up with Walker Fowler
and Taylor Kiser at the front of the pack
after making his way around lapped riders.
Lane moved into third place but fell back
to fourth position after his ATV stalled out.
Lane battled with 2011 MAXC A Class Champion
Kevin Cunningham to regain third place before
crossing the finish.

Racing's #30 Fred Marley placed second
in the Open A Class |
In the amateur ranks, #176 Brycen Near was
able to grab the win the Open A Class aboard
his Honda 450R ATV and was joined on the podium
by #30 Fred Marley in second and #387 Joshua
Beach in third.

only were there many creek crossing
at Circle W Ranch MAXC Round 1 but there
were also several mud holes to be found
that made things interesting |
#443 Joshua Huxhold from Muncie, IN took
the win in the B 15-24 ATV class followed
by #430 Kellan Alspaugh, and #269 Matthew
Harris in third.
Honda mounted rider #63 Zack Watters won the
C 15 -24 Class with Stephen Austin Ranard
and Joshua Paul rounding out the podium.

The Youth ATV classes were also in full swing
at MAXC round 1 with many entries in each class.
In the 90cc Limited class it was #501 Bo
Martin who took top honors with #8 Bryce Enright
and #994 placing first and second respectively.
In the 13-15 yrs 300cc 4 Stoke class it was
#811 Thomas Hufferd from Sheridan, IN that
took the win with #6 Charlie Welch and #22
Travis Spencer rounding out the podium at
Circle W Ranch.
MAXC ATV / UTV Racing Series will make its
second stop of the ten round series in Greenfield,
IN on May 19, 2012.
