Two-Time TerraCross Champion and former Pro ATV
Motocross Racer, Jason Luburgh, finished second.
Luburgh joined Bikeman Performance / rOtation
Motorsports Team this year and is driving a Polaris
RZR XP1000 with his sister, Jamie, as his co-pilot.

KICKER's
Jason Luburgh charged his way through
the pack after dropping back to 10th place
in the second lap
|
“That was a lot of fun,” said Luburgh. “Jamie
picked some really good lines. We really just
wanted to come out, get our feet wet and get a
finish. We knew we were doing well so we pushed
on the last lap and we finished second. I couldn’t
be happier. The whole Bikeman team is great. As
the season goes on we’ll test some more, but we
really had to rush for this one.”

Jamie &
Jason Luburgh (Sister & Brother) secured
a 2nd place finish in the XC1 Pro SxS
Class in their debut with the Bikeman
/ rOtation Team
|
Polaris / UXC Racing’s Michael Swift stepped
up the Pro Class this year after having finished
second in XC2 SxS class last season.
|
With bottlenecks
everywhere in the woods, it was a free
for all & Michael Swift & Jason
McCoy both tried to fit between two trees
at the same time, which didn't work, but
luckily they didn't damage their RZRs
and both went on to top five finishes.
|
“I was a little nervous stepping up to the Pro
Class, but the new Polaris RZR 1000S handles great,”
said Swift. “We had a lot of fun today. Fourth
is pretty good for me. I don’t spend a lot of
time in the RZR; I spend most of my training on
the four-wheeler. So I’m excited to get this kind
of finish.”
Privateer racer Jerry Boling made his GNCC debut
this weekend and finished fifth. Despite personal
issues, Boling recorded the top five.

360 Fly /
Addict Racing's Jerry Boling secured a
top five finish in his first GNCC SXS
race
|
“To run with these factory guys doing it as an
independent is very humbling,” said Bolling “I’d
like to say thank you to my wife. We’ve had a
difficult week; we lost two family members this
week. She wanted me to run here. I also have to
take my hat off to Addict Race Engines, Racertech
and 360 Fly. That motor pulls so strong. We needed
that power in the fields and especially in the
mud holes. We had no time on this car. We had
no time to really tune the shocks, so I’m really
looking forward to the next round.”
