GNCC ATV racers were treated to near perfect
race conditions for the 26th running of the John
Penton GNCC besides some thick dust in the field
sections, and Ohio's Walker Fowler was up to the
challenge. Fowler got off to a second place start,
dropped back several positions before the end
of the first lap when he missed a turn on the
track.

Maxxis' Walker
Fowler dropped back to fourth place in
lap one
|
Fowler remounted his charge and took over the
lead by the end of the third lap, and he held
it all the way to the checkered flag for a dominate
win at his home-state track, which gained him
some valuable points in the GNCC Racing Pro XC1
ATV Championship points race moving him to within
22 points of series leader, Adam McGill.
|
LSR's Walker
Fowler claimed his fourth win of the season
at the John Penton GNCC, which is the
most in the Pro XC1 ATV class
|
CST / PirateMX.com / LSR / DeRisi / Tireblocks

nearly pulling the holeshot, he flipped over coming
out of the first turn, which sent him to the back
of the pack.

Adam McGill flipped over in the first
turn
|
Adam McGill wasn't about the give up as he quickly
charged his way up through the pack and into the

second spot, but Fowler was out of sight, and
McGill would cross the finish 31 seconds behind
