(5/10/2014) – Can-Am’s Bryan Buckhannon claimed his first 4x4 Pro ATV win of the 2014 Amsoil GNCC Racing season at Loretta Lynn’s round six. Can-Am’s Rob Smith took the second spot in the 4x4 Pro class followed by Polaris / UXC Racing’s Michael Swift rounding out the podium. Cody Collier dominated the morning race with the overall win.

The new GNCC Racing 4x4 Pro Class had its
fourth different winner in its sixth round
with Can-Am’s Bryan Buckhannon finally
claiming the top spot on the box after four
previous podium finishes. After an intense
back and forth battle with fellow Can-Am Racer,
Rob Smith, Buckhannon was able to pull away
in the end to secure the 4x4 Pro win.
Buckhannon’s win boosted him to within three points of the point’s leader, Kevin Trantham, as the GNCC Racing season approaches the halfway point.

BNR’s Rob Smith got off to a slow start and was back in the fourth spot at the end of the first lap, but he charged his way into the lead in lap two, but he wasn’t alone as he battled back and forth with Buckhannon in the final four laps of the race, but in the end, he finished in the second spot for his third podium finish, which currently has Smith third in the points race.

Polaris / UXC Racing’s Michael Swift scores his first podium finish on his new Polaris Scrambler XP 850 ride for 2014. It has taken Swift several rounds to get his new race machine dialed in, but everything came together for Swift at his home state track with Loretta Lynn’s just about an hour from his home in Tennessee.
