Athelete Chris Borich battled back and
forth with Maxxis' Chris Bithell as
the pair chased after Adam McGill out
front |

#1 Chris
Borich finished in the 2nd spot after
dramatic battle for the win at the
finish line with Adam McGill

“It was a good battle; we got up to him
(McGill) with two laps to go. I know everyone
doesn’t see what’s going on out
there and he (McGill) was doing a little bumping
and banging out there; but rubbing is racing
and we like it. I ended up getting by him clean
on the last lap, he got behind a lapper and
I took over the lead. Right before we came out
to the finish a lapper just stopped in front
of me and he was able to get back by me. I tried
to get back by him right before the finish and
it didn’t work. It was a good race and
the big picture is the championship; I’ve
got valuable points on that and we’ll
just go from here,” explained Borich.
IQ Equipment’s Chris Bithell claimed
his fifth podium of the season. Bithell put
on an exciting run from start to finish. He
had a decent holeshot and was sixth into the
woods as the racers battled up the hill and
away from the crowd. He pushed through traffic
and was in fourth at the end of lap one. Bithell
took over the second spot on lap two and lead
the charge to catch McGill, who had pulled
a lead on Bithell and Borich. By the end of
lap three Bithell had closed the gap to just
07.522 Bithell dropped behind Borich on lap
four where he remained until the checkers.

KR4's
Chris Bithell scored his 5th Podium
finish of the year

“Today was a great race. I raced my first
race here at the age of 14 and it’s always
great to come back to a home track. We really
had a good battle and kept the hammer down all
day. I can’t thank the fans enough; they
were everywhere, cheering and pointing us lines.
The fans really kept me going. My Reliable Tool
Suzuki ran great. The ATV Innovations engine,
Maxxis Tires, FOX suspension and everything
else was spot on. I can’t thank everyone
enough,” said Bithell from the podium.
Bithell also announced that he has teamed
up with KR4 to race The Gusher (round eleven
in Foxburg, PA) on one of their Arrive and
Ride 250F dirt bikes. Bithell has been a long
time racer of both quads and dirt bikes and
his venture with KR4 will surely add excitement
to the upcoming GNCC.
