Snowshoe GNCC Winner, #341 Brian Wolf,
held the lead for several laps till
a broken chain ended his charge in the
final lap of the race |
Brian Wolf, who took the overall win at Snowshoe
in both 2009 and 2010, was looking strong off
the start and appeared as if he could take the
overall again. Wolf led for almost the entire
race, but in lap four, he encountered issues
when he broke a chain, which ended his day early,
giving him eleventh place for the day.
Adam McGill, who is still recovering from
injuries he sustained just a few weeks ago,
made an appearance to salvage points and completed
one lap of the grueling race.

In the morning classes, 4x4 Open class racer,
Andrew Langston topped the morning podium,
giving him his first ever overall morning
win. U2 class racer, Jordan Phillips claimed
second overall and took his first U2 class
win of the season, while Super Senior class
racer, Dave Simmons rounded out the morning
podium.

Yamaha’s Traci Cecco took the Women’s
class win with Shanna Bradshaw in second and
Kylie Ahart in third.
Round number nine of the 2012 GNCC series
will head to Millfield, OH, for the John Penton
round at Sunday Creek on July 7th.
