Danville, VA - The third round of the

stayed close to Lee and was able to get around her in
lap three. While the two riders pulled away from the
rest of field, they stayed close throughout the race.
Williams was able to hold Lee off until the last turn
and Lee got back in front just in time to take the checkered

jumped out front in both classes and ran away with the

first two rounds, Gabe Ellett, jumped the line in the
main event sending him to a penalty row start as he
had to settle for a tenth place finish. Damon Brown
finished 2nd and Christopher Atkins was 3rd.
In the A classes, for the first time this year there
was a different winner besides Kendall Webb. Webb won
the Production A class going away early in the evening
before running into some bad luck in the 4-Stroke and
265 classes. In the 4-Stroke A, Walnut Cove, NC rider,
Kirby Cooke jumped out to and early lead followed by
Kristopher Bures, Ken Macgregor, and Ryan Partee. While
Cooke and Bures began to pull away from the rest of
the riders, Webb was pressing hard to get to the front
from his 7th position off the line. With two laps to
go Webb had worked his way to third, and after running
down Bures in lap 9 he had his sights on Cooke in the
final lap, but Cooke was able to hold him off in the
final turn before taking the checkered flag.

building a commanding lead and looking as if he had
the race in hand, Webbs motor gave out as the bottom
cases cracked at the final turn sending him off the
track. Jackson was still in second and took the checkered
flag for his second win of the day and was followed
by Obie and Dice.

to get past the third position. Keith Jenkins and Jordan
Peck got out front and were back and forth several times
