In the 4-Stroke A, Walnut Cove, NC rider, Kirby Cooke jumped out to and early lead followed by Kristopher Bures, Ken Macgregor, and Ryan Partee. While Cooke and Bures began to pull away from the rest of the riders, Webb was pressing hard to get to the front from his 7th position off the line. With two laps to go Webb had worked his way to third, and after running down Bures in lap 9 he had his sights on Cooke in the final lap, but Cooke was able to hold him off in the final turn before taking the checkered flag.
