Keith Little
Wins Midnight Main Event
Greenbrier, AR (6/24/06) - Yet again,
Mother Nature tries to spoil another round of Extreme
Dirt Track racing, but with Terry Reynolds behind the
event, he was prepared to overcome any obstacle thrown
at him, and for the first time this year, every class
was able to compete in a the main event with racing wrapping
up after Midnight with the Pro Main.
Married life has sparked a new flame in the “Alabama
Slammer” Keith Little as he has been on fire ever
since. He claimed his first Pro overall win of the year
at the ATVA MX National Event this past Sunday in Steel
City, and less than one week later, he claims yet another
win this time in Extreme Dirt Track Series, which was
also his first of the year.
Keith Little launched his Curtis Sparked powered Honda
off the line with the Holeshot with Tim Farr right behind
him for several laps, but Little would eventually pull
a comfortable lead over Farr. The real battle was for
the third spot between Harold Goodman, Shane Hitt, and
Daryl Rath. This trio of riders swapped positions back
and forth during the race with Goodman eventually spinning
out and holding up Hitt while Rath seized the moment
and launched back up into third where he stayed to the
checkered flag.
Out Front, Little and Farr were both on a mission as
they lapped over half the Pro field, which made for
some interesting final laps with Farr closing the gap
to 5-6 quad lengths by the checkered with Lone Star
Racing’s Keith Little taking home the win.
In less than one week, Keith Little will hit the track
again in his home state of Alabama at Mill Creek MX
Park in Pell City, AL for Round 10 of the ATVA MX Nationals.
