#25 Chuckie Creech claimed the 3rd spot
on the podium |
DASA Racing’s Brad Riley would come off the
line with a top 3 start position and would have
to battle with Chuckie Creech. He would eventually
be able to slip by Creech and then pour on the coal
to catch up to Goodman in the lead. Riley wouldn’t
be able to make the pass for the lead but would
come away happy with a second place finish after
a hard fought race.
#25 PEP/Turtle Racing Engine’s Chuckie Creech
has been an ever-present figure in the Pro-Am class
for much of the season and the 7th round was no
exception as Creech would come off the line in a
second place ride. Creech would put his Close Encounters
Whitetail Outfitters Honda TRX450R into the second
place position off the holeshot and would hang on
to that sport for much of the race. Creech would
then come under fire from a hard charging Brad Riley
and would get bumped back to 3rd place by the time
the checkered flag flew.

#6 Justin Frindt finished in the 4th spot |
#6 RUN NEEDT/ESJ Graphic’s Justin Frindt was
on the move again in the Pro-Am class having one
of his best showings on the year coming away with
a 4th place finish trailing behind Creech but beating
out Brian Ace for the spot. Frindt would come off
the line with a good rhythm and continue his pace
for the remainder of the race.
#338 PEP/Roberts Racing’s Brian Ace would
round out the top 5 for the Pro-Am class but not
without a hard fought battle. Ace would jockey
for position early on in the race and would get
around #758 KSR/PEP’s Scott Reifenshneider
early in the race and then make a move to the
front but unfortunately was forced to settle for
4th place.
PRO-AM
UNLIMITED
ATV MAIN |
The big bores would roar as the Pro-Am Unlimited
racers pulled their quads to the line in for their
main event. The feature would see the high-compression
king, Brad Riley come away with the win as Chuckie
Creech and Kirby Cooke would fill the rest of
the box.

Maxxis' #27
Brad Riley grabbed the Pro-Am Unlimited
Holeshot & lead from start to finish
to claim the win for his third podium
finish of the day
|
#27 DASA/PEP’s Brad Riley would rip off
the line on his Maxxis tires and come away with
a commanding holeshot to take the early lead,
which he held to the checkered flag for the win.
“I was in the zone for the race as I am
for the rest of the time I’m on the track.
This is my 4th consecutive year that I’ve
been able to come out here and win the Unlimited
championship and it feels really good. I’m
glad to see a lot of fans out here in the ground
and I love coming away with another win especially
in my home state of North Carolina,” said
Riley after the race.
