ITP Championship
ATV Mud Racing Takes one Last Splash in the Mud
::Continued::
 |
Team
Carolina Customs Bruce Cline stays on the
gas to bring home yet another Pro Class
win |
Bruce Cline of Team Carolina Customs, would take
the Pro class in grand fashion as his high speed
straights had everyone entertained! Watching Cline
launch his Can-Am Outlander off the line was a
sight to behold has he muscled his way to the
lead and never looked back. Super pro was no less
exciting and the day would go to a hard charging
Team Palmetto Mudding racer Brandon Bessant.
The ladies would be well represented in this
series and they had their hands full battling
the course as well as each other. Rhonda Wiley
was off to a great start in one race but would
find staying her ATV the biggest challenge as
she fell off and went for a swim! Wiley would
take second and it would be Juana LaFontaine securing
her class win.

The
womens class is just as competitive as the
mens class |
Juana LaFontaine
made here way threw the mud to win the
womens class
|
The Youth racers had the crowd laughing and cheering
as they participated on a limited course for Youth
classes one and two, however the Youth three would
get to run the big pit and Drew LaFontaine of
LaFontaine Racing grabbed another win for the
team. LaFontaine Racing would see their racers
clinch two class wins and three top three's on
the day.

|
The
competittion at the this round was not only
heated in the big classes but in the Youth
Class as well as riders raced to the finish
line in hopes to capture the championship.
|
The season ending event would crown the class
champions as the last tire turned! Rhonda Wiley
may have had a get off during a heat race however
she would lock up her class championship as she
dripped dry in the South Carolina sun! A long
season of travel and racing was finalized here
at Carolina Adventure World and the plans are
already underway for the 2011 season.

The Racing at Round 7 of the ITP Championship
Mud Racing Series was full of suprises,
laughs, and all around good times. |
With the manufactures looking to expand their
offerings to a huge mud riding marketplace, this
series could well be the place to showcase their
endeavors. While the RUV numbers were low, the
thrill of watching nitrous gulping, mud slinging
Polaris Razr's rip up the pit should hopefully
encourage a few others to give this a go. Brian
Taylor would take the win here at CAW and lock
the RUV championship up as well.

The
UTV guys and gals are just as serious about
racing as the ATV guys. Some of the UTVs
found at the ITP Championship Mud Racing
Series have nitro bottles that allow for
even more power to get through the deep
mud. |
