It was a beautiful day for racing with temps
in the mid 80’s in Laughlin, Nevada for BITD UTV
World Championship. Luckily there was also a slight
breeze because there were some very dusty sections
out on the desert course that caused issues for
many drivers.

with 120+ UTV entries |
The start of the BITD Polaris RZR UTV World Championship
was a little different in a land rush start style
with 15 cars lined up at a time released at 30
second intervals. The course was 17 miles long
with racers running 10 laps for a total of 170
miles. The course included an infield section
with jumps, including the FOX long jump. Whoever
was to hit the long jump the farthest throughout
the day claimed a prize of $3000.00 from FOX.
UTV Inc.’s John Angal had the longest distance
during the desert race, but the prize for that
eventually went to RJ Anderson during the short
course race later in the day.

The high speed course seemed to suit the #1913
Lonestar Racing team of Branden Sims and Justin
Krause as the team took the lead shortly into
the first lap and ran a flawless race for his
first BITD win and he got to take home the first
place prize of a new Polaris RZR XP 1000.
