Millville,
MN (7/8/2015) –
Round 7 of the Mtn Dew ATV Motocross Nationals took
everyone to Spring Creek MX in beautiful Millville,
MN. There was a lot of talk around the pits about
how rough and tough this track is compared to the
others on the schedule this year, but not many complaints.
Spring Creek MX is known for its knarly sand whoops
section, and when the officials tried removing that
section to save a little time on laps, they found
out how much the riders did not want that section
removed! This shows the dedication these kids have
to the ATV motocross series. They didn’t want easy,
they wanted to be challenged.
Youth All Star racer, Peyton Zimmerman, is on
a roll this year, with three wins in a row. He
is currently leading the points in this class,
by only 11 points. The top three points leaders,
Peyton Zimmerman, Alan Myers, and Cody Ford, have
been giving the spectators a show and challenging
each other, round after round.

Peyton was on fire this round, also claiming
the win in Supermini, putting pressure on Bryce
Ford by shrinking his points lead to only 9 points!
Peyton said “the track was crazy fast”. Bryce
finished in a close second place. Bryce is currently
leading the points in Supermini, 90 Open Sr, and
90 Shifter (12-15).

In 90 Shifter (12-15), Trevor Thatcher proved
that although he’s a newbie to these older classes
this year, he’s very capable of running up front
and winning. He got his first win this season
and had this to say, “It’s been a tough season,
the top guys in this class are really fast and
I’m just really happy to be able to run with them
and to finally have a win this year”. Trevor is
currently in fifth place in both 90 Shifter (12-15)
and 90 Open Sr; seventh in Supermini.
