ATV Pro Motocross Race
Report - Round Two
::Continued::
Yamaha’s Thomas Brown definitely was going for
it at round two when him and Josh Creamer connected
in Moto one while battling for the third sport,
which sent the pair flipping, but luckily neither
were injured with Brown finishing in the 11th
spot.

Thomas Brown
finished 4th in Moto 2 for 6th Overall
on the day
|
In Moto two, Brown got off to a mid-pack start,
but he charged his way up to an impressive fourth
place finish, which earned him sixth overall on
the day, which has him sixth in the points race
just one point behind Rastrelli.
Maxxis’ Brad Riley scored a sixth place finish
in moto one, which was a Pro career best for Riley,
who is better known for his success on the track
in the Extreme Dirt Track Series, and Riley finished
the day in seventh overall after a tenth place
finish in moto two as Riley begins to turn some
heads on the motocross track.
|
Brad Riley
finished a ATV Motocross Pro Career best
7th Overall
|
Pro Rookie, Brett Musick, put in another impressive
showing finishing 9-8 for eighth overall, which
is one position higher than he finished at Aonia
Pass.
|
Pro Rookie,
Brett Musick, finished in 8th Overall
for another Top 10 overall finish
|
Houser Racing’s #31 Adam Clark came out to round
two on a brand new 2014 Yamaha YFZ450R with some
last minute help from Houser Racing, Maxxis, and
Toby at Moto-Xperts, and it paid off with Clark
finishing out the weekend in ninth overall, and
he looking forward to getting in some more seat
time on his new ride before round three at High
Point.

Adam Clark
finished in 9th with his new Houser/Maxxis/MotoXperts
Yamaha

BCS Performance’s Josh Creamer was off to a great
start in moto one in the third spot, and he even
nearly passed Wienen for second at one point,
but in lap five his charge up front ended when
him and Brown collided and Creamer was only able
to rebound to a 15th place finish by the checkered
flag for a disappointing first moto.
|
Josh Creamer
recorded the Pro Race fastest laptime
with a time of 1:49.500
|
With a bad gate pick for Moto two, Creamer was
all the way back in 11th after the first lap,
but Creamer was on a mission as he recorded the
fastest race lap-time of the day with a time of
1:49.500 in lap ten, which is impressive for one
of the final laps of the moto. Creamer ran out
of time as he was nearly side by side with Rastrelli
at the finish in the sixth spot for 10th overall
on the weekend.
After two exciting rounds of racing over the
past two weeks, Pro motocross racers and fans
will now need to wait till six weeks till round
three on May 17th in Pennsylvania at High Point,
which gives everyone a chance to fix any issues
that may have kept them from running their best
at the first two rounds, so it will be interesting
to see if anyone can end Chad Wienen’s winning
streak at High Point.
