TT Pro ATV Shootout Race Report
::Continued::
Riley got stuck in traffic and took the Joker
Lane late, handing him second. Though he finished
second overall, his win on day one, combined with
the runner-up finish on day two tallied his winnings
to $2,600 for the weekend in the pro class alone.

#27 Brad
Riley finished 2nd on Saturday in the
Pro ATV Main Event
|
“Chuckie was out front from the get-go when I
got stuck behind someone,” said Riley. “I just
wasn’t able to challenge him. We missed the setup
just a little bit, and I’m happy to come home
on the podium. We had to take the Joker Lane twice
and that made it interesting. It was a lot of
fun.”
Houghton rebounded from mechanical issues experienced
on day one to finish third on day two. He was
challenging for second in the end when the clutch
began to slip on his quad.

#92 Michael
Houhgton rebounded on Saturday to claim
a 3rd place finish in the Pro ATV Class
|
“After a little bad luck on Friday, we regrouped
and put in a solid run,” said Houghton. “We’ll
regroup on this and get things moving forward
from there. I like this track a lot. It’s a very
technical track. You have to make sure you hit
your shift points. You have to have a good start
and you have to put in a good 25 laps.”
Evanyke equaled his finish on day one with another
fourth-place finish. He is looking forward to
running the event again next year.

#3 Andrew
Evanyke held off the competition to secure
a 4th place finish
|
“I had a bad start, took the Joker Lane on the
first lap and put some laps down,” said Evanyke.
“It was tough to pass and the bike was a little
tight. I really need to thank the Earnhardts.
The event and the money are great.”

“This was a fun event,” said King. “It was a
hectic race, and the Joker Lane mixed things up.
I can’t wait to run again. I won the Pro Lite
championship last year and they made me move up.”
