AMA ATV Motocross Nationals Round #7 - Steel City MX Delmont, PA July 6, 2013

BCS Performance’s Josh Creamer rounded out the top five in the AMA Pro ATV Class. Creamer was among the top contenders during the exciting battle during moto one. He was in fourth until lap seven when he was able to make the pass for third. Things were looking good until a rock hit the key on his Can-Am and brought him to a halt. He got moving again and salvaged sixth for the moto.

The second moto went better for the former champion; he had a good start and was in fourth for the first four laps. He dropped to fifth for a while, but rallied and took back fourth on lap seven. He remained there until the checkers. His 6-4 score card granted him fifth for the day; he is currently in third in AMA Pro ATV points.

“I’ve been running into some bad luck lately and am really looking to come off of this and be able to pull my program together to get back up to the podium. I’ve been training really hard and am hungry for that top spot,” said Creamer.

PEP’s Josh Upperman placed 5-6 at the round to earn sixth overall. He was followed by Jeff Rastrelli who scored 8-7.  Rastrelli’s seventh place finish ties his career best. Eighth place belonged to Nick DeNoble with Tyler Hammerick and Casey Martin rounding out the top ten.

The eighth round of the AMA Mt. Dew ATV Motocross Championships will take place next weekend in New Berlin, New York at Unadilla. The front runners are sure to be in top shape at the want for an over podium extends to almost ever racer. Stay tuned to see if Chad Wienen can keep it together or if someone will claim the center of the box.
